Japan Matsuri 2018 will take place on the 30th of September (Sun) from 10am~8pm in Trafalgar Square.
Japan Matsuri started in London in 2009, and ever since it has been a yearly fixture in London’s events calendar. The festival is the largest Japanese Event in England, and since 2012 a growing number of international visitors have been flocking to Trafalgar Square to experience and learn about Japan. The event is run by the Japan Matsuri Management Committee, and organised with the help of enthusiastic and able volunteers who are interested in Japanese culture.
We are seeking volunteers who can help us both before and during the festival on the 30th. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the event and make new friends at the same time, so please join us!!!
*Please remember this is a purely voluntary role and you will receive no payment.
Pre-Event Volunteer (before 30th): assisting with final preparations & moving
Event Volunteer (all day on 30th): you will be divided into several groups; stalls, performance support, logistics, security, administration, and so on.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mr Mitsuyama via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please attach your CV and clarify whether you can also help out before the event.
If you have any questions or enquires, free to contact us at the same address.
